The general objective of the study was aimed at proposing strategic guidelines aimed at the sustainable development of the Máines farm located in the Community of La Laguna, Corregimiento de Calobre located in the Province of Veraguas -Panamá, during the period 2020-2022 Theoretically, the research was supported by the contributions of authors such as Elkington, J. (2004), Epstein, M and Roy, M (2003), among others. The research is framed within the projective typology, with a non-experimental transversal field design. The study population was made up of 15 farm collaborators, applying population census criteria. For data collection, the observation technique was used through the survey, through a questionnaire, made up of 36 items and five alternatives of closed answers, namely: always, almost always, sometimes, almost never and never. Validity was performed through expert judgment, and for reliability the Alpha Cronbach coefficient, reaching a value of 0.85. A set of guidelines were formulated, aimed at establishing guidelines for the development of a sustainable farm, which contributes to the socioeconomic development of the region and, at the same time, with the exploitation and use of tourism potential, through an experience that contributes to preserving socio-cultural values and creating ecological awareness.
