Peer review
The journal carries out a primary evaluation through the Ithenticate anti-plagiarism software, then an editorial evaluation is carried out to verify that the document complies with the journal's standards and corresponds to its scope and area of knowledge.
The review is carried out by the double-blind method, after the evaluation of the editorial committee the document is passed to external peer review (at least 2 reviewers), which determines whether or not the article is accepted. The average response time is 2/3 months and evaluators are selected based on their experience in the study area. The journal has the collaboration of external evaluators who are outside the editorial team and the publishing institution.
Evaluation responses can be:
1. Publish with slight modifications
2. Publish with substantial modifications
3. Do not publish.
When the peer reviewers' responses do not coincide, a third review is requested; the editor will make the final decision on accepting the article once the review reports are complete.
The authors must respond to the referees' suggestions within a period of no more than 3 months.
